Job Summary
As a member of the Energy Management Team at REV Renewables, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing front office analytical support for asset optimization activities. The ideal candidate must have experience within the North American Power and Gas sector.

Duties / Responsibilities Hedge Strategy & Portfolio Innovation
Team up to design creative hedge strategies that unlock value across energy, capacity, ancillary services, and renewable products.
Think like a trader, act like a strategist—your ideas will directly influence revenue.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Support budgeting, acquisitions, and development with sharp analytical insights.
Apply market fundamentals and advanced statistical tools to shape trade and hedge ideas.
Dive into PJM and ISONE capacity auctions—your analysis will help guide our moves.
Market & Regulatory Radar
Stay ahead of the curve on market shifts, ISO pricing, and regulatory updates.
Be the subject matter expert for what’s changing and what it means for our strategy.
Build the Tools You Want to Use
Design, modify, and maintain the front‑office systems that power our trading decisions.
Align tools with strategic goals and risk controls—your code will shape how we work.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Regulatory, Development, Finance, and Accounting to influence decision making.
You’ll be providing thought leadership at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation.
Required Education / Skills / Knowledge
A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Economics, Math, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
2–5 years of experience in the North American power and gas markets.
Confidence writing and editing code—especially in Python and SQL—and familiarity with version control tools like Git.
A working knowledge of energy or commodity markets and a curiosity to learn more.
Clear, confident communication skills—both written and verbal.
The ability to juggle multiple projects and stay organized without heavy oversight.
A sharp analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
A growth mindset: you’re curious, persistent, and detail oriented.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Must be able to sit/stand at a desk, using a computer workstation.
The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; lift, push or pull objects up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to handle long periods of screen time and typing.
Must be able to have effective time management skills, with the ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
