Description The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who demonstrates mastery of core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organization, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner while employing evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.
Qualifications
Active Florida RN license required
Minimum 7 months of RN experience in step‑down, IMCU, or Progressive Care
Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
RNs hired with an Associate degree have five years from hire date to complete the BSN
BLS required
Certification in area of practice preferred
Minimum required experience: less than 1 year of experience.
