Travel MRI Technologist – Asheville, NC
Overview Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves performing diagnostic MRI scans in a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining image quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
Operate and maintain MRI equipment and report technical issues
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration
Phillips MRI Systems experience
Current state license (where applicable)
BLS certification required
2+ years of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or imaging center
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills
Contract Details
$1,512 – $1,660 per week (36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts)
13‑week contract with possibility to extend
