Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As an MRI Tech, you’ll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Job Description Specialty: MRI Technologist
Discipline: Allied Health Professional
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
40 hours per week, 8 hour days, shift: days
Employment Type: Travel
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered
Phillips MRI Systems experience
Current state license (if applicable)
2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
BLS certification required
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills
Contract Details
$2,000 - $2,211 per week
Hospital setting, 12 week contract with possibility to extend
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
