Career Accelerator Program - Product Engineer - Dallas
Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas, United States, 75215
Change the world. Love your job.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI, and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.
In ATD we develop new process platforms with step-function improvements in performance and cost, extending roadmap process technologies with new features, models and reduced costs; and creating innovative, breakthrough technologies for new markets and new products. As a product engineer in this department, you will validate, characterize, and qualify circuits used in advanced analog and mixed signal technology. This includes developing the test plans & test solutions, identifying yield and reliability issues, and driving solutions through collaboration with designers, R&D engineers in ATD, fab engineers, and product and quality engineers. This activity has a major impact on new technologies that are essential to the future of TI and will drive revenue for years to come.
Product engineers have the following responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to test, characterize and validate circuits used in development and qualification of advanced analog and mixed signal technologies.
Develop test solutions; includes writing, validating, and executing test code as well as design and acquisition of appropriate hardware.
Analyze & interpret data from a variety of sources to understand key factors influencing circuit performance.
Drive investigation of issues across design, process, test, and failure analysis teams to quickly understand root cause of device failures and yield issues.
Develop and perform experiments to isolate potential failures for physical analysis.
Collaborate with design, process integration, and fab teams to develop and verify corrective actions for yield and reliability issues.
Present effective updates to cross-functional technical teams as well as management.
