Conduct RF site surveys and select optimal site locations for base stations

Perform link budget analysis and coverage planning using tools like Atoll, Planet, or Asset

Define RF parameters including frequency, power, and antenna tilt for optimal performance

Monitor KPIs such as throughput, latency, and call drop rates to ensure network quality

Optimize network parameters to resolve coverage holes, interference, and capacity constraints

Analyze drive test data and implement physical changes (e.g., antenna adjustments) to improve signal quality

Troubleshoot RF-related issues including interference, handover failures, and low data throughput

Coordinate with field technicians for hardware troubleshooting and antenna system maintenance

Perform post-processing of test data using tools like TEMS, Nemo, or XCAL

Collaborate with deployment teams to ensure sites meet RF design specifications

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FCC) for RF emissions and safety

Prepare technical reports and documentation for network performance and optimization activities

Qualifications

Strong understanding of 5G NR architecture, LTE, and legacy technologies (3G/4G)

Proficiency in RF planning and optimization tools such as Atoll, iBwave, and MapInfo

Experience with data collection and post-processing tools like TEMS Investigation, Actix, and Windcatcher

Knowledge of RF propagation models, antenna theory, and link budget analysis
