Mid‑level Traffic Engineer
to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our
Dayton, Ohio
office. Compensation & Benefits
Annual Compensation:
$95,000‑135,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards. Benefit Information:

Traffic impact studies Traffic operations analyses Safety studies Signal system design Signal timing plans Maintenance of traffic Pavement markings and signage Highway lighting design Corridor studies Identify project issues and facilitate resolution Analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency Project and task management Maintain client relationships Collaborate with other traffic and transportation/civil engineers on a team setting Occasionally visit work sites to monitor progress and report findings Meet all safety requirements when visiting work sites Other duties as assigned Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required) P.E. license (required); PTOE preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience (required) Experience working with state DOTs preferred Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, TransModeler, VISSIM, AutoCAD/MicroStation/Geopak/Open Roads Designer, and Microsoft Office Experience with travel demand modeling software (TransCAD, CUBE), ArcGIS, SignCAD preferred Knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual and NCDOT Congestion Management Guidelines Strong technical background with good client skills Strong written and verbal communication skills (required) EEO Statement
