Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Windchill Technical Lead with proven experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, specifically PTC Windchill, to support and lead implementation, customization, and integration efforts within the Medical Devices industry. This role will be responsible for delivering scalable, compliant, and innovative PLM solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead for Windchill PLM implementation and optimization initiatives.

Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross‑functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.

Design and implement custom configurations, workflows, and extensions in Windchill (PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, etc.).

Integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems such as ERP (SAP/Oracle), MES, and document control systems.

Manage and mentor a team of Windchill developers and administrators.

Troubleshoot system issues and provide Level 3 support for escalated incidents.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with product lifecycle goals.

Support data migration efforts (Windchill Bulk Migrator/WBM) from legacy PLM systems or during M&A activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

7+ years of experience with PTC Windchill, including at least 2 years in a technical lead role.

Strong knowledge of Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, and MPMLink.

Hands‑on experience with Windchill APIs, customization (Java, Info*Engine), and data migration tools like Windchill Bulk Migrator.

Experience in Medical Device or Life Sciences industry with understanding of regulated environments.

Familiarity with software validation practices (CSV), documentation, and change management in a regulated industry.

Knowledge of integration with ERP, CAD (Creo/SolidWorks), and MES systems.

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
