Position: Embedded Developer

Location: Dallas, Denver and Seattle (Onsite)

Experience: 5+ Years

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and SoCs.

Interface with hardware design teams to define system architecture and requirements.

Optimize embedded code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.

Develop and execute unit and integration tests; support system validation and debugging.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product management.

Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement processes.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies in embedded systems and apply them when appropriate.

Required Skills

C/C++ embedded software development experience on Linux‑based SoC.

Hands‑on experience in IT/Telecom software and hardware solutions, with a wide breadth and ability to deep‑dive into different technical areas as needed.

Relevant network knowledge (Residential gateways, IPv4/IPv6, TR‑181, 802.11, Ethernet).

Experience on RDK‑B (familiar with Wi‑Fi RDK‑B CCSP, HAL and BBF TR‑181 Data Model).

Experience on Broadcom‑based SoC (familiar with Broadcom SoC Wi‑Fi driver debug commands).

Autonomy: Sagemcom project teal leader will be remote and thus requires great autonomy.

Leadership: Project SW maturity convergence is our goal; a certain level of seniority is needed to decide on daily SW development activity to secure the overall project schedule.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to understand complex technical concepts.

Wi‑Fi: Experience investigating Wi‑Fi protocol frames with sniffer, knowledge of Wi‑Fi features such as puncturing and MLO.

EasyMesh: Ability to understand EM controller versus EM Agent functional responsibilities, familiar with P1905 protocol.

Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field.
