Responsibilities:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Currently seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer in our Scottsdale, AZ location.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the‑art ground operational system.

Satellite communications knowledge
Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
System/Software design for cloud‑based microservice architecture
Preferred Experience:
Technical Background: Systems Engineering: Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, design behavior with emphasis on:
Software/Systems engineering:
Experience decomposing the high‑level space‑ground systems design into ground software/systems design
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE):
Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw
Programming and Tools Skills:
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling
Cloud Computing:
Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
Simulation and Modeling:
Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
Key responsibilities: Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and other key stakeholders to translate requirements into robust system designs within a fast‑moving timeline
Decomposition of end-to‑end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases
Coordination with developers and integration and test teams to ensure component development meet system mission needs
