4-6 years of insurance defense experience . Candidates must have strong analytical, research and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Key Responsibilities
This role is for a docket handling lawyer who can handle all aspects of defense litigation from answer to jury verdict Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents Reporting effectively, timely, and professionally to clients Sending and responding to discovery, including coordination with clients to obtain relevant responsive documents and information Conducting legal research on a variety of issues relevant to insurance defense litigation Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, site inspections, and mediations Active participation in all aspects of litigation management Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, year-end discretionary bonus, and benefits package offered. 1920-hour billing requirement. This is a full-time in-office position with the potential for remote hybrid flexibility after ramp up. Candidates must be admitted and good standing in Texas.
