Our client is a Washington, DC based law firm with offices around the world, including DC and NYC. This position is remote, but requires occasional travel to DC or NYC and is only accepting applicants from these two areas.
Role Overview The Contracts Manager oversees the full lifecycle of vendor agreements, combining hands‑on contract drafting and negotiation with strategic leadership. The role ensures compliance, mitigates risk, and manages a team of contract professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all vendor agreements from creation to renewal/termination
Lead a team including Contract Analyst and Client Agreement Advisors
Oversee workflow and task distribution
Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts
Analyze and mitigate legal and financial risks
Monitor contract performance and compliance
Serve as primary liaison for external contract communications
Resolve contractual disputes
Improve contract database systems
Maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Contract Management, IT, or related field
8–10 years of relevant experience preferred
Deep knowledge of commercial contracts and contract law
Strong negotiation, strategy, and pricing analysis skills
Advanced communication, research, and problem‑solving abilities
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet tools
Ability to multitask and work independently or in teams
Experience with cost containment strategies and risk evaluation

Salary Range: $97,000 – $155,000 (based on experience and location)
