In-House Corporate Contracts Attorney (Hybrid – Washington, DC)
Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Contracts Attorney to join its in‑house legal team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role offering a balance of in‑office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted legal partner to internal business teams on day‑to‑day commercial contracting needs.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including vendor, procurement, SaaS, technology, NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
Provide practical, business‑oriented guidance on contractual risk and compliance.
Support contract lifecycle management from intake through execution and post‑signature support.
Assist in developing and improving contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes.
Qualifications
J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
5+ years of commercial contracts experience, preferably in an in‑house environment (law firm experience with a strong commercial focus also considered).
Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast‑paced setting.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.
Pay Rate: $80–$100/hour
