Special Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology (Spring 2026 Semester)
Join the Department of Psychology at Hofstra University as a licensed clinical psychologist in a one‑semester Special Assistant Professor role. This position requires teaching one course in Clinical Interviewing and two courses supporting the externship sequence, including topics on basic supervisory skills and professional consultation. The appointment is term‑limited to one semester, with no anticipated renewal.
Qualifications PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA‑accredited university.
Active clinical licensure, ideally in NY State.
Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Preferred Quals Current practice as a clinical psychologist.
Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.
