$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
The Manager of Accounting Operations will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role leads transaction processing, supervises staff, drives continuous process improvement, and ensures strong internal controls over cash flow, vendor payments, and customer collections. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to optimize working capital and support overall financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage AR and AP teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payments, and collections
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
Identify and execute process improvement and automation initiatives across AR/AP operations
Oversee customer billing, collections, credit management, and dispute resolution
Manage vendor relationships and payment terms to optimize cash flow
Review and approve AR/AP-related journal entries and subledger-to-GL reconciliations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies
Generate and analyze AR/AP reports and metrics for leadership decision-making
Provide coaching, leadership, and professional development to team members
Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally on organizational initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general accounting principles
Deep understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Language Requirements
Fluency in English (written and verbal) required
Multilingual skills strongly preferred
