A national Ohio based law firm is seeking an Attorney to join its Commercial Contracting team. Qualified candidates will bring at least five years of commercial contracting experience or a minimum of two years working in a corporate legal department. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of law firm experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering high-quality commercial contracting support. Candidates must be able to work independently, demonstrate strong attention to detail, manage competing deadlines, and communicate effectively. The position also requires the ability to collaborate with clients, outside counsel, in‑house teams, and administrative personnel.
Core requirements include proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. Candidates should highlight the specific types of contracts they have handled—such as MSAs, licensing agreements, IT agreements, SaaS contracts—as well as the industries they have supported. Prior in‑house experience, particularly within a bank, is especially valuable.
