Base Pay Range
$275,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr
We are partnering with a pioneer in the renewable energy sector, currently experiencing rapid growth and backed by significant institutional investment. Based just outside of Nashville, their mission is to scale sustainable infrastructure across the U.S. We require a CFO who is ready to transition the finance function from a high‑growth startup environment to an institutional‑grade operation.
The Executive Mandate This role is a strategic and operational leadership position reporting directly to the CEO and Board.
The core mandate is built around three critical pillars:
Capital Markets & Investor Relations
Lead all complex
debt, equity, and project financing
initiatives to secure growth capital.
Serve as the primary interface for institutional investors and board members, ensuring transparent financial communication and strategic alignment.
Strategic Direction & Business Partnering
Partner with the CEO to set the long‑term financial strategy (3-5 years) for the company.
Drive rigorous financial modeling for major capital expenditures, project ROI, and potential
M&A opportunities .
Operational Excellence & Infrastructure
Establish and enforce best‑in‑class internal controls, compliance frameworks, and
US GAAP reporting standards .
Spearhead the selection and implementation of a scalable ERP system and financial infrastructure to support hyper‑growth.
The Ideal Candidate Profile We seek an experienced financial executive who thrives in a fast‑paced, capital‑intensive environment.
Experience:
Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive (VP Finance) in Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or Utilities sectors.
Qualifications:
CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
Track Record:
Must have direct, demonstrable experience successfully closing significant capital raising rounds (both debt and equity) and managing cash flow for large‑scale projects.
Leadership:
A natural leader capable of mentoring and scaling a high‑performing finance, accounting, and compliance team.
