A leading hyperscale data center platform is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial strategy, operations, and capital management for a rapidly expanding business. The CFO will be responsible for driving disciplined growth, strengthening financial infrastructure, leading capital markets activities, and partnering closely with the executive team to scale the platform globally. This role requires deep experience in project finance, infrastructure development, and complex capital deployment across multi‑billion‑dollar portfolios. Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Leadership

Develop the long‑term financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives, growth plans, and investor expectations. Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles. Provide strategic decision support to the CEO and Board, delivering clear, data‑driven insights. Build a high‑performing finance team across FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, and corporate development. Capital Markets and Funding

Lead all debt and equity capital raising to support development pipelines, acquisitions, and platform growth. Structure project finance facilities, term loans, revolving credit lines, asset‑backed financing, and other instruments. Manage relationships with investors, lenders, rating agencies, and financial partners. Oversee optimal capital allocation and liquidity management. Project Finance and Development Support

Support development teams through rigorous financial modeling, cost analysis, and investment approval processes. Establish financial frameworks for site selection, procurement, power contracting, and construction risk management. Ensure transparency, discipline, and governance across all capital projects. Financial Operations

Oversee accounting, audit, reporting, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Implement scalable systems for billing, revenue recognition, cash management, and financial reporting. Improve operational efficiency, cost control, and performance measurement. Commercial and Strategic Partnerships

Evaluate and structure long‑term customer agreements, including hyperscale cloud, AI compute, and enterprise colocation clients. Partner with commercial leadership on pricing, margin analysis, and multi‑year contract negotiations. Assess strategic opportunities such as M&A, joint ventures, and new market entry. Risk Management and Governance

Establish comprehensive risk management frameworks covering financial, operational, and compliance risks. Maintain strong governance, reporting, and Board communication. Own enterprise‑level insurance programs and risk transfer strategies. Qualifications

15 plus years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally including CFO or VP Finance roles in data centers, digital infrastructure, utilities, or adjacent asset intensive sectors. Expertise in project finance, capital structure optimization, and large‑scale infrastructure deployment. Strong understanding of power procurement, construction dynamics, equipment supply chains, and long‑term customer contracting in the data center ecosystem. Track record of building and scaling finance organizations through rapid growth. Deep experience with institutional investors, private equity sponsors, and strategic partners. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred. Personal Attributes
