Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

LHH is partnering with a private equity backed construction company. The company is high-growth with an increasing pipeline of projects and positive cash flow. The role will report C‑Suite and play a leadership in finance functions for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of financial management for all ongoing and upcoming projects, including profitability, cash flow, and working capital analysis.

Lead weekly pipeline meetings, providing financial insights on jobs in progress and ensuring the team maintains a clear understanding of project status from a finance perspective.

Oversee financial reporting for projects, maintenance contracts, and enhancement jobs, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.

Drive the annual financial planning process in partnership with local and corporate teams.

Deliver timely P&L forecasts, variance analysis, and recommendations for operational improvements.

Identify and implement financial and operational enhancements to maximize profitability and efficiency.

Manage and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Serve as the primary liaison with the corporate finance and accounting teams, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of financial information.

Oversee the financial aspects of marketing spend, lead generation, and SEO performance, working closely with our digital marketing partner (WebFX).

Analyze the ROI of marketing initiatives, providing the organization with clear metrics and actionable feedback on the effectiveness of marketing investments.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly close processes, tax filings, and compliance requirements.

Support system integrations and participate in ad‑hoc projects to drive business transformation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA and/or higher degrees a plus

7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a project‑based industry such as real estate, construction, engineering, design/build, or manufacturing.

Demonstrated expertise in project finance, financial modeling, and project‑based analysis.

Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.

Strong understanding of WIP and percentage of completion

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 15 days (initially), 10 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (1+ years of employment). PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year
