Executive Recruiter | Accounting & Finance | Aligning Top Candidates with Top Companies LHH has partnered with a high‑growth investment management firm focused on real estate to add a Senior Associate to their team. This blended role covers finance & accounting (approximately 60/40) and will become more finance‑leaning over time.

Best suited for candidates that have exposure to both finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for the investment advisor and captive service providers.

Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements for all entities.

Support the development and maintenance of financial models, including revenue and expense projections.

Monitor performance versus budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and insights.

Prepare cash flow projections and assist with treasury management.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with third‑party service providers and auditors on accounting and tax matters.

Support the preparation of materials for capital raising, investor relations, and ad‑hoc senior leadership requests.

Work with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in the application of legal agreements and business processes.

Identify opportunities to enhance accounting and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

5+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance, preferably within real estate investment, private equity, or asset management.

Strong understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and accounting principles.

Proficiency with financial accounting software (Workday experience a plus) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
