Recruiting Coordinator | Washington, DC | Hybrid | $75K–$110K

Our client, a highly respected Washington, DC law firm, is seeking an experienced Recruiting Coordinator to support all aspects of attorney, summer associate, fall associate, and staff recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and wants to play a key role in shaping firm talent.

About the Role The Recruiting Coordinator will partner closely with the Recruiting & HR Manager and firm leadership to support various recruiting initiatives.

Responsibilities

Full-cycle recruiting for 1L/2L/3L law students, lateral attorneys, fall associates, summer associates, and staff

Job postings & applicant tracking for attorney and staff positions

Law school recruiting, including OCI planning, outreach, events, and interviews

Summer Program coordination — onboarding, training, events, communications, and logistics

Candidate database management including scheduling, data entry, and tracking

Recruiting Committee materials preparation and distribution

NALP surveys, Flo Recruit listings, and other reporting

Onboarding support for lateral attorneys, associates, and staff

Ad hoc HR & recruiting projects as needed

Qualifications

5+ years of law firm recruiting experience

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels

High attention to detail + exceptional organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Comfort working under deadlines in a collaborative environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms (ADP, viRecruit, Flo Recruit, Symplicity, etc.)

Ability to lift 25 lbs and support event logistics as needed

Required Skills Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with HRIS/ATS platforms.

Preferred Skills Experience in a law firm recruiting environment and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
