Transaction Advisory Manager, Financial Due Diligence

BDO USA is looking for a Transaction Advisory Manager to lead financial, accounting and operational due diligence engagements within our fast‑growing Transaction Advisory Services practice. As a member of the number one middle‑market deals team, you will be challenged based on your abilities and expected to bring value to clients and the firm. Key Responsibilities

Plan and oversee the due diligence process, applying BDO standards to deliver quality services. Analyze financial and operating results within the context of a proposed transaction. Perform industry, company and technical accounting research to assist clients in informed decision‑making. Conduct on‑site or phone interviews with C‑level personnel. Identify and propose resolutions to critical issues related to the M&A process. Compose financial due diligence reports highlighting key quality of earnings, working capital and debt‑like issues. Manage the relationship and information flow among BDO, client and target company. Partner with TAS Senior Managers, Directors and Principals to pursue business development opportunities. Build new relationships and maintain existing ones within BDO and other lines of business. Research and develop proposal documents and participate in client presentations. Supervisory Responsibilities

Schedule and supervise tasks and assignments of TA Associates and Senior Associates. Review work product and provide comments and edits. Develop associates through training and professional development opportunities. Provide verbal and written performance feedback throughout the fiscal year. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance (required). Experience: Five (5) or more years of public accounting and two (2) or more years of Transaction Advisory Services (preferred). Experience interacting with C‑level personnel. CPA, CPA candidate or CA (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication, executive presence and analytical thinking. Strong knowledge of technical accounting areas such as US GAAP. Ability to travel as needed. Compensation

National Range: $100,000 - $170,000 Maryland Range: $100,000 - $170,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $130,000 - $160,000 Equal Opportunity Employer
