Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Audit Senior to join our rapidly growing public accounting team in Chicago. The role involves leading complex audit engagements, supervising associates and interns, and collaborating with partners to enhance client service.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and lead complex audit engagements for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
Supervise and mentor associates and interns, providing guidance and conducting performance assessments.
Engage in comprehensive audit research to stay current with accounting standards and deliver effective solutions.
Collaborate closely with partners, managers, and staff to contribute to practice development and client service enhancements.
Manage engagement risk and financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and collections.
Work closely with a team of highly skilled professionals to understand client needs and offer proactive solutions and advice.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting focused on audit and assurance services.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or CPA eligibility.
Proficiency in technical auditing and accounting skills.
Exceptional project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Strong work ethic and adaptability to tackle new challenges.
