ABOUT THE ROLE The Tax Manager will lead multiple client engagements, oversee compliance and planning across individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation, and play an active role in mentoring team members. This role is ideal for a proven professional with strong technical tax expertise and management skills who wants to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment while contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s tax practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
Supervise, review, and sign off on complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships.
Mentor and develop junior professionals, providing both technical and professional guidance.
Conduct research and planning projects, delivering solutions to client tax issues.
Support practice development efforts and contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage people and multiple projects effectively.
High level of professionalism, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
Relationship management and practice development experience.
