IWS Family Health, a community health center providing preventive health care services to children and families, seeks a Family Physician to work as a critical part of its Medical Team.
Position Responsibilities
Manage primary, acute and chronic health problems affecting women through comprehensive history and physical examination, assessment and diagnostics in outpatient setting
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures
Management of full spectrum of contraception
Prescribe pharmacologic and non –pharmacologic interventions
Collaborate and coordinate with the primary care team to deliver evidence‑based care and to establish best practices in clinical care
Opportunity for administrative role for qualified candidate
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
MD or DO from accredited institution
Active licensure in the State of Illinois as a physician
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice
BLS and CPR certification is required
Previous experience working in a community health center is preferred
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $240,000 depending on experience. IWS Family Health provides a competitive salary and benefits plan, including Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, health, dental, life and vision insurance options, as well as a 403(b) option.
