Large Format/Signage Install Director – Arizona – On‑Site – Relocation Assistance Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr – $135,000.00/yr

Seeking a knowledgeable, hands‑on Large Format/Signage Install Director to lead the growth of our installation capabilities across all large‑format print, event signage, and custom fabrication projects. This role is responsible for building a robust, high‑achieving team that infuses experienced Installers and Install Leads with a dependable, well‑vetted installation subcontractor network. The Large Format/Signage Install Director will be accountable for delivering safe, high‑quality installation projects nationwide, ensuring these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our brand standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in installation leadership within large‑format print, live event production, and signage.

Proven and documented success building and managing large install teams and sourcing subcontractor networks.

Experience in live events, experiential marketing, production, or creative services involving installations strongly preferred.

Expertise and strong familiarity with installation management platforms and documentation tools.

Strong understanding of installation techniques, equipment, certifications, and safety practices.

Excellent team development, mentorship and leadership skills.

Strong operational acumen with experience in scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.

Highly skilled communication and collaboration skills across multi‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a long‑term strategy for installation operations that aligns with company growth and margins.

Mentor and lead the Installation Manager and Team Leads.

Nurture a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Head workforce planning to support peak periods and multi‑market startups.

Forecast labor capacity and allocate proper resources to align with project timelines and complexity.

Source, vet, and onboard national installation subcontractors.

Create and implement an installation subcontractor performance matrix, including KPIs and project audits on safety, communication, and craftsmanship.

Maintain a dynamic vendor database with certifications, specialties, and performance scorecards.

Mitigate install risk by ensuring SOP compliance, site preparedness, and crew qualifications.

Proactively identify potential delays and risks by implementing mitigation strategies in real time.

Create, manage, and standardize SOPs, checklists, and onboarding materials.

Use gathered data and documentation to drive cost analysis and drive improvement.
