Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Campaign Manager (Clean Transportation / Climate) for a respected national nonprofit focused on advancing collaborative environmental initiatives. This is a full-time, remote position supporting nationwide coalition efforts.

Position Overview The Campaign Manager will help drive strategies to accelerate a zero-emission transportation future by phasing out internal combustion engines. Reporting to the Senior Strategist, this role will coordinate U.S. coalition efforts, strengthen partnerships across the climate and transportation sectors, and support policy, advocacy, and communications strategies. The ideal professional is collaborative, mission-driven, and highly skilled in coalition-building and cross-organizational engagement.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and strengthen a U.S. coalition focused on clean transportation and zero-emission vehicle adoption

Develop and implement strategic campaign tactics in collaboration with national campaign directors

Lead coalition engagement through meetings, events, sign‑on letters, and outreach initiatives

Represent the coalition in advocacy spaces, conferences, and policy‑related forums

Monitor transportation electrification policies, legislation, and regulatory developments

Support communications through message development, research, and collaboration with the communications team

Qualifications

Experience with coalition management, advocacy campaigns, or organizing within climate, clean transportation, or environmental justice work

Strong writing, editing, communication, and meeting facilitation skills

Ability to build and sustain relationships with NGOs, policymakers, partners, and diverse stakeholders

Competency with Google Suite and digital advocacy tools

Demonstrated judgment, initiative, and ability to manage multiple fast‑paced priorities
