Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Tax Manager, based in San Francisco, CA, with opportunities for remote work flexibility. The Tax Manager will oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation processes, while ensuring adherence to the latest tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities include leading tax engagements, reviewing financial data, developing strategies to optimize tax positions, providing consultative advice, and mentoring junior staff. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and maintaining excellent client relationships are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
Expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Strategies to optimize financial outcomes
Proficient in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and ensuring accuracy in reporting
Strong knowledge of Tax Law and its application to various financial transactions
Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA license or equivalent required)
Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting, with leadership responsibilities preferred
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable
