Tech Solution Sales Director IQVIA

Job Summary As a Tech Solution Sales Director, you will work directly with clients to provide value-added input on strategic issues, identify business development opportunities, and manage commitments for services delivery or implementation-oriented client projects. This role focuses on driving sales, cultivating new business, and building long-term, profitable partnerships in the life sciences and healthcare industry.

Location Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA area (must be commutable).

Essential Functions

Serve as primary owner of client engagements, focusing on client satisfaction and delivery quality.

Drive sales efforts by developing and implementing strategies to secure new clients and increase revenue.

Generate new business leads and proactively identify opportunities through market analysis and networking.

Meet or exceed assigned revenue and sales targets, managing a robust pipeline.

Develop tailored solutions, presenting and pitching services to senior executives.

Actively pursue opportunities to grow accounts and expand IQVIA’s market footprint.

Lead proposal development and negotiate contracts to close high-value deals.

Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Delivery) for go‑to‑market strategies.

Provide consultative problem‑solving expertise for complex client challenges.

Identify and develop commercial offerings aligned with market trends.

Enhance market presence through thought leadership and networking.

Assume responsibility for talent and people development within the team.

Required Education and Experience

10+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, or related roles.

Track record of hunting new business and closing large-scale deals.

Experience building and managing pipelines and exceeding revenue targets.

Knowledge

Thought leader in sales and business development with strong understanding of client needs in life sciences or healthcare.

Deep knowledge of effective sales methodologies, consultative selling, and relationship management.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Master’s Degree preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Strong hunting and prospecting skills.

Expertise in consultative sales and crafting value propositions.

Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.

Proven ability to develop acquisition strategies and penetrate new markets.

Broad knowledge of life sciences industry trends and competition.

Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders.

Proficiency with CRM tools.

Strategic thinker focused on innovative solutions.

High energy and results‑driven approach.

Compensation and Benefits Potential base pay range: $134,200.00 – $286,700.00 annually. Additional incentive plans, bonuses, health and welfare benefits may apply.
