Key Skills

Strong programming skills in Python, Shell/Bash, Java, and C/C++

Familiarity with compliance suites at OS‑level such as Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS, and chip‑level such as ARM SystemReady, SBSA, BBR is a plus

Strong understanding of core OS concepts such as memory management, scheduling, NUMA, storage, virtualization, and secure boot

Deep understanding of server workloads and performance benchmarking for data‑center environments

Deep expertise in software quality principles, ARM‑based architectures, Linux systems

Proven expertise in developing automated test solutions, managing source code repositories, implementing CI workflows, scripting, and building robust test frameworks

Contributions to open‑source software and upstreaming is an advantage

Strong problem‑solving, communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills

Experience with real‑world server workloads, performance optimization, and practical deployment scenarios

Key Responsibilities

Gather requirements and define effective test strategies, including planning and developing new test content, processes, and frameworks

Drive technical excellence by setting high standards for test automation, quality, and compliance across projects

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team

Influence cross‑functional decisions by providing strategic input on test frameworks, methodologies, and best practices

Collaborate with development teams to improve testability and upstream fixes where applicable

Incorporate OEM requirements and feedback to enhance test solutions across multiple products, and automate industry‑standard benchmarks for CPU validation

Leverage common test methods and frameworks in partnership with technology teams to ensure consistency and efficiency

Apply creativity and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges and navigate novel circumstances

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience

Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience

Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience

5+ years of experience in test/automation development or a related discipline

Pay Range $130,600.00 – $195,800.00
