This role sits at the intersection of business, data, AI, and technology to define, enable and deliver New York Life’s Digital Experience Ecosystem, which provides the foundation for personalized, intelligent digital experiences. A proactive, team‑oriented problem solver who brings clarity to complexity. Shapes and maintains a prioritized, transparent backlog aligned to business objectives. Strong delivery discipline, ensuring commitments are met through structured planning, proactive risk management, and transparent communication. Balances speed, quality, and stakeholder alignment through facilitation and trade‑off decisioning. Creates clarity across functions, ensuring the right people are engaged, informed, and empowered to act. What You’ll Do
Marketing Platform Strategy, Architecture, & Roadmap: Understand the business strategy and consumer and advisor journeys to identify required platform capabilities needed to enable consistent and seamless experiences. Build strong recommendations with business stakeholders to shape what is prioritized for investment. Proactively assess the ecosystem’s capabilities and external vendor landscape to recommend relevant improvement opportunities. Develop documentation of business‑enabled solution architecture partnering with Technology and AI & Data stakeholders. Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap that connects strategy to delivery and adapts as priorities evolve. Digital Platform Backlog Planning & Enablement: Partner with Product Managers and Product Designers to understand business priorities and identify platform and capability needs and corresponding requirements. Accountable for defining, grooming, and managing the underlying backlog. Delivery & Execution Management: Partner with Technology and AI & Data teams to lead the delivery process. Manage sprint planning, feature delivery, and risk escalation, ensuring trade‑offs are transparent and data‑informed. Balance business expectations and technical feasibility through clear communication and proactive alignment. User Acceptance & Quality: Partner with the UAT team to validate that deliverables meet defined business and user expectations. Guide the creation and prioritization of test scripts; support triage, prioritization, and resolution of defects. Ensure readiness for deployment through collaboration with key stakeholders. Platform & Vendor Collaboration: Partner with leaders to facilitate platform evaluations and vendor RFPs as needed, ensuring scalability, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with strategy. Influence vendor roadmaps to support evolving business needs and enterprise goals. What You’ll Bring
Skills & Competencies
Foundational understanding of AI and how it can be used to drive modern experiences. Direct experience enabling modern, AI & data‑driven MarTech and AdTech platforms and capabilities (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, equivalent modern platforms). Proven ability to document platform and data strategies and requirements to enable delivery of innovative marketing solutions. Strong delivery discipline and problem‑solving orientation. Strong facilitator who drives clarity, consensus, and accountability. Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and business audiences. Experience negotiating priorities, and a trusted partner in cross‑functional discussions. Education & Background
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent. Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years specializing in digital product delivery. Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $97,500 – $143,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Company Overview
