Sales Director @ SS&C Technologies SS&C Blue Prism is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director to cover large enterprise accounts and hunt for new business. You will work closely with partners, peers, and SS&C ecosystem to expand market share by maintaining and generating new opportunities in aligned accounts.

Responsibilities

Directly manage and nurture a named account list (of prospects) and develop account plans for winning and expanding business

Create new business opportunities and build relationships with banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, and other financial institutions

Partner with subject matter experts to navigate across solutions

Maintain knowledge of industry, data, stakeholder reporting, and regulatory challenges and trends

Attend and network at related industry events

Work within a dynamic setting in a culture that strives for and rewards achievement

Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models

Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities

Forecast accuracy for management planning

Maintain clean view into current and future quarter opportunities and forecast

Selling automation solutions into large enterprises, BPOs and Shared Services operations, managing complex sales campaigns from introduction to closure

Self‑generate new pipeline and close new business from end‑user clients

Travel roughly 30‑60% of the time

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in financial services sales; familiarity with regulatory trends and developments in the industry a plus

Full sales cycle experience

Demonstrated communication, presentation, relationship, and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a high‑pressure, high‑workload environment

Strong client presentation experience

Comfortable with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Strong background in new business sales with proven track record of success

Consultative sales experience with complex solution sales cycles

Experience selling to the business, as well as IT influencers

Inquisitive and tenacious, finding new opportunities and extending account value

Credible at executive and operational levels, developing long‑term relationships

Strong organizational skills and relationship skills, carrying a quota

Results focus – pipeline generation, revenue and profit, leading and inspiring others in your ecosystem

Excellent written and verbal communication
