Executive Director, Sales – KeHE Distributors Pay Range: $167,000.00 / Yr – $245,000.00 / Yr

Primary Responsibilities The Executive Director of Sales is a key leadership role responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the development and execution of sales, marketing, and merchandising programs to retail stores and other retailers that meet regional and company financial goals. This position will also develop and solidify relationships with customers, vendors, and broker partners. All actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Essential Functions

Develop and execute sales plans and programs to ensure sales and profit growth at the account level through analytical and fact‑based selling.

Create creative promotional plans to increase sales and manage plans through profitable execution.

Provide leadership and build sales teams to drive sales, marketing, and merchandising programs upward to ensure company objectives are met or exceeded.

Develop, assess, analyze, and execute ongoing sales plans specific to the accounts of responsibility.

Increase sales by finding new business opportunities and through consistent follow‑up.

Analyze and distribute category management information and initiatives.

Represent KeHE at regional and national trade events and industry associations.

Manage budgets for assigned customers.

Monitor competitor activities and recommend paths forward to address these activities.

Work with a sense of urgency toward projects, requests, and deadlines.

Communicate and collaborate with other KeHE functional areas to meet all company objectives.

Ensure established company policies and procedures are followed in the assigned sales area.

Handle other duties and projects as assigned.

Willingness to travel to various business locations up to 75% of the time.

Willingness and flexibility to work hours, including some weekends.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or a related field is required.

Minimum 12+ years of experience in the grocery retail channel with 8+ years of management experience.

Education and Experience

As above: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or a related field.

12+ years in grocery retail; 8+ years in management.
