We’re seeking a Project Engineer (HYBRID) with PSM background to work for one of our most trusted clients.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and keep updated registers for Safety-Critical Elements (SCE) and Safety-Critical Devices (SCD), based on findings from hazard studies such as HAZOP and PHA.
Lead and support workshops for HAZOP, LOPA, and risk evaluations for both existing assets and new installations.
Plan, manage, and deliver capital projects and system upgrades.
Prepare comprehensive engineering design packages, including work scopes, process diagrams (P&IDs), equipment datasheets, and cost projections.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and operations) to achieve safe and efficient outcomes.
Manage external contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards.
Support documentation control, design reviews, change management (MOC), and pre-startup safety checks (PSSR).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Process Engineering (or closely related discipline).
5+ years of experience in a chemical processing facility.
Solid grasp of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and functional safety standards.
