The Senior Architect - Process will lead pharmaceutical and life science project teams to create world-class designs for Life Science clients. The role involves leading the project team through design and construction, integrating process systems into architectural concepts based on budget, environmental factors, and client needs. Lead project design from conceptualization to completion, aligning with client and team requirements. Develop, review, and modify production drawings for Life Science facilities. Contribute to project scheduling, scope, budgeting, staffing, and construction planning, managing change orders effectively. Apply knowledge of FDA, cGMP, and industry standards and practices. Design integration of equipment, processes, and personnel in new or renovated facilities. Develop Process Architect deliverables across various Life Sciences sectors including Animal Health, Biotechnology, and Pharmaceuticals. Identify operational efficiencies and optimize designs to reduce facility footprint. Utilize architectural standards, compile studies and reports, and write specifications. Develop non-standard design solutions for complex projects. Review production drawings and construction administration to ensure compliance and resolve issues. Lead field inspections, measurements, and testing. Prepare and present technical reports and build client relationships. Engage in business development, including pursuing new opportunities and managing project budgets and proposals. Mentor team members, ensure QA/QC adherence, and communicate effectively across teams. Ensure safety policies are followed and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program. Minimum 8 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred. Registration as an Architect preferred. Strong knowledge of architectural techniques, standards, and software (Revit, Adobe, 3D rendering). Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience leading large projects, delegating tasks, and resolving issues. Ability to perform quality reviews and travel as needed.
