About The Role We are seeking an experienced Project/Portfolio Manager to lead and support strategic initiatives within our Technology & Digital Department. This role is critical in ensuring projects and programs are aligned with organizational goals and delivered according to PMI standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex, multi-million dollar initiatives and driving continuous improvement across project management functions.

Key Responsibilities Project & Program Management

Manage the full lifecycle of projects and programs, from initiation through closure, following PMI's PMBOK® Guide.

Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables using formal documentation.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement through structured communication plans.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; elevate critical issues per governance protocols.

Maintain comprehensive documentation, including RAID logs and status reports.

Strategic Portfolio Alignment

Ensure alignment of projects and programs with enterprise strategy and OKRs.

Contribute to portfolio-level prioritization and benefits realization.

Promote standardization in scheduling, reporting, and communication using PMO tools and templates.

Capability Building & Continuous Improvement

Mentor junior project managers and support PMO maturity.

Apply lessons learned and industry best practices to improve delivery effectiveness.

Deliverables

Initiation: Project Charter, Stakeholder Register, Business Case (if applicable)

Planning: Project Management Plan, Scope Statement, WBS, Schedule (Gantt Chart), Risk Management Plan, Communication Plan, Resource Plan

Execution & Monitoring: RAID Log, Status Reports, Performance Dashboards, Change Requests, Meeting Agendas/Minutes

Closure: Lessons Learned Report, Final Project Report, Benefits Realization Summary, Project Closure Checklist

Portfolio-Level: Strategic Alignment Reports, Portfolio Prioritization Inputs, Continuous Improvement Recommendations

Job Requirements Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification required.

2+ years of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs.

Deep understanding of PMI's PMBOK® Guide and project management best practices.

Experience with portfolio management, strategic alignment, and benefits realization.

Proficiency with PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and documentation standards.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior project managers.

Period of Performance

Start Date: December 2025

End Date: May 2026 (option to extend)

Location

Hybrid office-based work environment.

No travel or on-site presence required unless otherwise specified.

Success Criteria

Projects delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Stakeholder satisfaction and engagement metrics met or exceeded.

All documentation completed and maintained per PMO standards.

Demonstrated contribution to PMO maturity and strategic alignment.

Additional Information
