We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager for our upstream marketing team to shape the next generation of Fieldpiece hardware, firmware, and software products. In this role, you sit at the intersection of product strategy, market insight, and product definition—owning the discovery work that turns real field problems into clear, actionable product direction.

In this upstream role, you’ll lead customer‑insight‑driven product definition for our connected tools and platforms, ensuring we deliver solutions technicians love and businesses rely on. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on transforming complex technology into clear, compelling customer value. You’ll spend up to 20% of your time with technicians and distributors, uncovering real customer needs, and bridging strategic thinking with commercialization.

What You’ll Do Shape the Future of our Products

Define and drive category and portfolio strategy across hardware, firmware, and connected software.

Stay deeply connected to the field—spending up to 20% of your time with technicians and distributors—to uncover insights that drive meaningful innovation.

Develop product positioning, messaging, and launch plans that resonate with every audience—from technicians to distributors—nationally and internationally.

Partner with downstream marketing and sales to create compelling product stories, sales enablement tools, and training programs.

Measure launch performance, adoption, and revenue impact—and use those learnings to guide future strategies.

Drive Business Impact

Build financial models, pricing strategies, and adoption forecasts to guide executive investment decisions.

Identify market opportunities and competitive trends that shape Fieldpiece’s long‑term growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of experience in product marketing or upstream product management in a product‑driven industry.

Proven success bringing technical products to market—from concept to launch to sustained growth.

Strong business acumen with the ability to connect market insights, financial modeling, and strategy.

Exceptional storytelling and communication skills—you turn technical detail into compelling business narratives.

Deep curiosity about emerging technologies and ecosystems.

Collaborative mindset and the ability to align cross‑functional teams toward a shared vision.

Ability to travel up to 20%.

Benefits

Matching 401(k) up to 4% with immediate vesting.

Excellent medical benefits including an HSA option with monthly contributions.

Supplemental term life, employee assistance programs, disability, and more.

Hire‑to‑retire philosophy that includes personal career development plans.
