Job Purpose The Manager, Program Delivery and Alignment is a strategic partner to Program Leadership, responsible for coordinating and optimizing program delivery across the portfolio from program ideation to program sunset. This role leads the program lifecycle process and acts as a critical bridge between Programs, Team Services, and Program Support teams to streamline operations, improve processes, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution. (beneficiaries) thrive, removing blockers to evidence‑based decision‑making and ensuring stakeholders are involved at the right time to support successful change management and timely decision‑making. This highly collaborative role involves managing a range of projects and balancing the needs of the portfolio with the broader organization.

Essential Responsibilities

Translate the Program Leader’s Vision into an executable roadmap with clear identification of resource needs, expected benefits, major risks, and dependencies impacting other teams.

Facilitate collaboration events (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, focus groups) to support program teams in delivering high‑quality youth programs and services.

Manage delivery timelines, backlogs, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.

Partner with Program Leadership to ensure planned work is aligned with strategic goals and youth needs.

Analyze feedback from youth, staff, and partners to inform program portfolio decisions.

Identify portfolio risks, challenges, and opportunities to ensure smooth program deliveries.

Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Remove blockers and enhance team performance through servant leadership.

Connect program outcomes to organizational success for senior leadership.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (IT, Finance, Risk, etc.) for smooth program implementation.

Other Duties

Contribute to the organization’s success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team and organization results.

Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet key deadlines.

Able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant certifications in project management, change management, Lean process improvement, and/or product management a plus.

5+ years of experience in program delivery, project management, or operations, with at least 3 years in a flexible environment or Human Services‑related organization preferred.

Strong facilitation and coaching skills to lead with influence and build consensus to drive change.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse groups, ranging from executives to front‑line staff.

Strong track record of solving business problems, using data insights to improve the organization, managing stakeholders, and managing large‑scale change in organizations.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, pivoting when necessary while promoting stability and focus to achieve clear outcomes.

Travel Requirements In alignment with the organization’s values of

(Continuous Learning and Improvement), this position may require occasional travel across the island, inter‑island, and out‑of‑state depending on the needs of the team and organization. The ability to travel when required remains an essential aspect of this role.

Mental And Physical Demands Perform light physical work, including climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Work may involve exposure to outdoor climate and diverse terrain.
