Territory Manager - Histopathology Consumables
A leading supplier of histology and pathology consumables is expanding its commercial team and hiring a Territory Sales Representative to cover Florida.
This role suits someone who knows the pathology lab environment, understands consumables workflows, and can build strong relationships across hospital labs, reference labs, and academic centres.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
The Role You’ll own the Florida territory and be responsible for:
Managing and growing a portfolio of histology customers across the state
Prospecting new labs: pathology, histology, toxicology, oncology, reference labs, academic research
Selling a broad range of consumables: slides, cassettes, formalin, fixatives, reagents, microtome blades, embedding & staining supplies
Running regular on-site visits, product discussions, and workflow consults with Lab Managers, Pathologists, Procurement
Delivering quotes, proposals, and managing pricing conversations
Forecasting pipeline, managing CRM activity, and reporting territory performance
Maintaining high reorder rates and ensuring strong customer retention
Monitoring competitor activity and market shifts in histology / anatomic pathology
What We’re Looking For
Experience selling lab consumables or diagnostic products into pathology / histology labs
OR hands‑on histology lab experience with strong commercial interest
Understanding of histology workflows and consumable usage
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with Lab Directors, Supervisors & Buyers
Self‑motivated field salesperson comfortable managing a large territory
Ability to travel frequently across Florida
