Base pay range $110,000.00/yr – $220,000.00/yr
Position Summary Join the Sam’s Club Product Development team and help shape the future of Member’s Mark products enjoyed by millions of members every day. In this role, you’ll turn insights, innovation, and industry trends into high‑quality, high‑impact items that elevate the member experience. If you’re passionate about creating products that blend science, creativity, and customer‑driven thinking, this is the place to make your mark.
What you’ll do
Lead product‑development communication across internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment, timely updates, and clear issue resolution.
Manage the full product lifecycle—from validating supplier data to reviewing new items, confirming specs, and coordinating approvals across cross‑functional teams.
Partner closely with omni‑merchants across multiple categories to bring high‑quality Member’s Mark products to market.
Support sourcing activities by validating documentation, ensuring audit‑ready accuracy, and assisting sourcing managers with projects.
Build, monitor, and refine product specifications through benchmarking, sample review, in‑store evaluations, and continuous collaboration with partners.
Conduct research and analyze data to anticipate customer needs, streamline development processes, and identify opportunities to improve product performance.
Guide product strategy and creative direction, ensuring products meet financial goals, align with merchandising strategies, and deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
Drive execution on multiple projects by setting priorities, removing barriers, tracking progress, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

You have a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
You bring hands‑on experience in cleaning or cosmetics formulations.
You’re well‑versed in EPA and cosmetic regulatory requirements.
You excel at project management and thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or a related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or a related area, OR 6 years’ experience in the same fields.
Preferred Qualifications Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages, creative design software, financial modeling, leading and completing cross‑functional projects, manufacturing, product development, or packaging, Microsoft Office, and supervisory experience.
Masters: Arts, Business, or Science.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Six Sigma certification.
