Executive Director Clinical Institute - Central Division Location: Lubbock, Portland, or Spokane (flexible). In this role you will serve as the architect of the Clinical Institute’s strategic vision and execution, partnering with Providence Clinical Network stakeholders to drive system-wide innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop enterprise‑wide integrated strategic and financial plans (ISFP) focused on quality, growth, financial sustainability, and research.

Lead large‑scale institute initiatives across divisions and service areas, ensuring seamless execution across the care continuum.

Collaborate with physicians, administrators and Finance to perform capital planning, vendor selection, contracting, digital solutions, care pathways, and KPI development.

Oversee performance management for the institute’s executive KPIs through direct and matrixed reporting relationships.

Design and maintain tactical workflows that extend to local care delivery sites in partnership with program managers.

Conduct market and environmental assessments to support system and regional P&L and growth targets.

Advocate for research and strategic partnerships to promote personalized medicine and revenue generation.

Represent the Clinical Institute on national, system, and divisional leadership councils.

Evaluate institute programs against performance metrics and brand criteria, collaborating with divisional leadership to enhance outcomes.

Develop innovative reimbursement models to strengthen growth, patient experience and value‑based care success.

Guide the Institute Clinical Leadership Council to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or equivalent education/experience preferred.

10+ years of healthcare or comparable leadership experience, with significant clinical or project management background.

Demonstrated success building physician relationships and collaborating across large health systems or regions.

Financial acumen at program level with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities.

Strong collaboration skills within a highly matrixed organization, engaging diverse teams.

Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information across all levels.

Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement principles, information systems and cost management.

Capacity for coaching and mentoring leaders, leading multidisciplinary work groups and organizing tasks efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $66.86 – $118.23. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, bonus opportunities and more. Benefit package includes 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, life, disability, paid parental leave, vacation, holidays, well‑being resources and voluntary benefits.
