BELFOR Property Restoration . The Senior Estimator position is the third level in our Estimating track. This role is responsible for creating and managing estimates and jobs in residential, commercial, and industrial lines of business. The Senior Estimator meets with clients, develops quality and competitive estimates using Xactimate software, manages work through completion, reviews budgets, and communicates progress with clients and management. Responsibilities

Create accurate scopes with minimal over/under-scoping Create accurate floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch Maintain working knowledge of applicable building codes Create and adhere to acceptable budgets; address overages as they arise Use the BELFOR naming convention for estimates, revised estimates, proposals, change orders, etc. Demonstrate knowledge of all local building codes Maintain construction schedules and coordinate with trades and management to ensure timely completion; identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques Proficient with investigative demolition, controlled demolition, decontamination, structure cleaning and deodorization services Participate in BELFOR University training; Basic Xactimate training as part of preparation for passing Estimator Level 2 or 3 User Certification, depending on role (score required to pass is 85%) Independently manages own work Maintain vehicle safety and routine maintenance; keep vehicles clean and serviceable Complete all accident, injury, and incident reporting forms as required and timely Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Assist in development and ongoing improvement efforts to position BELFOR USA Group, Inc as World Class in the industry Comply with company and department policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards Requirements

Expand and maintain local area clientele; clientele includes insurance adjusters and may include community business owners, schools, and municipalities. Senior Estimator book of business is approximately $2M-$4M Serve as primary contact with owners, adjusters, and consultants Scope development, negotiation, and agreements with customers Use BELFOR standard in formatting estimates Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed (board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage, vandalism) Identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.) Maintain professional and courteous conduct; be proactive and responsive to information requests Apply industry TPA Program standards and ensure compliance Strong customer service understanding and practices Ability to work under time constraints to meet timelines Attention to detail and safeguarding other people's property and information Attend BELFOR-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required Qualifications

3+ years' experience in Construction, Restoration, or Contents Estimating Residential estimating experience >$50,000; Commercial estimating experience up to $100,000 Successful completion of BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 user certifications Successful completion of Xactimate Intermediate training National rate and material invoicing experience English literacy and fluency Understanding of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs Use of BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates and proposals Extensive customer service experience Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Xactimate Professional demeanor and appearance; excellent telephone skills Ability to work well with others and maintain professional interaction with coworkers and vendors Physical Demands
