This one actually requires it.
Not the
title-on-paper
type — the real thing.
The kind where people come to you because you know tax, not because an org chart says they should.
This is a firm that’s been quietly compounding for 35+ years.
20–30 people, low ego, long-standing relationships, and a tax department at a turning point.
The Tax Lead is brilliant — but still too hands‑on.
They’re looking for someone who can step in, take weight off their desk, and elevate capability across the team. Less assisting. More steering.
If you like the idea of being the person who
reviews complex partnership work, leads staff, runs client conversations, solves problems not just filings
— this may be the seat you’ve been waiting for.
What you’d be stepping into
Heavy flow‑through work —
partnerships & S‑corps as the bread & butter
HNW individuals, trusts & nonprofits also in the mix
Client sizes ranging from early‑stage to
$1B+ revenue
A firm that does tax, assurance, valuation, forensic & advisory — not just form‑filling
3 days in office / 2 remote – human connection without the 5‑day grind
What they’re looking for
A CPA who has
led teams and reviewed complex work
Someone who can own client relationships end‑to‑end
A builder – someone who improves process, not just manages it
A communicator who can reduce technical complexity into calm clarity
If you’ve spent years doing the work and thought,
"I could run this if someone let me," — here’s someone who will.
And here’s the part most people get wrong:
you don’t need to tick every box to introduce yourself.
The apply button is not legally binding.
Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn’t right, and you carry on.
Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.
