A Kforce client is seeking a Corporate Controller to join their dynamic leadership team in Braintree, MA. The Corporate Controller reports into the CFO, managing the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of a $300M+ Retail & Distribution company. This is a strong leadership role with direct ability to make business impact in an established middle markets company. In addition to leading general ledger, GAAP accounting, financial statements, and ERP enhancements; this role will also be involved supporting FP&A, business planning, and profitability.
Base pay range
$155,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Managing an accounting team of 5, leading month‑end close, GL, preparing financial reports, and complex transactions according to GAAP Oversight of financial reporting and preparing consolidated financial statements Assist with budgeting, forecasting and various analytical reports Oversight of internal controls and financial audits Lead cash management and support treasury function Involved with ERP system enhancements and upgrades Requirements
CPA with 10+ years of accounting leadership experience Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and complex transactions Experience in a mid to large size company ($300M-$3B) Strong business acumen and ability to support FP&A Related industry experience in Distribution, Retail, or Supply Chain is a plus Big 4 or large national accounting firm foundation Holds self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards Strong analytical skills (budgeting/forecasting, etc.) Demonstrated history leading and managing teams We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
