Berliner Cohen’s San Jose Employment Department is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of labor law and employment litigation experience.
Responsibilities
Counsel clients and litigate wage and hour, class action, employment discrimination, and wrongful termination matters in California.
Handle administrative charges, wage laws, leave and compliance matters (FMLA, ADA, wage and hour).
Develop policies, provide compliance training, and manage pre‑litigation disputes.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in employment law.
Proven track record of strong performance and measurable results.
Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills.
Current member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
Compensation: an associate attorney with at least three years of experience can reasonably expect to start at $160,000, varying with qualifications and experience.
Work locations: San Jose and Modesto offices; travel to client sites, multiple counties, and between firm offices is required.
