Financial Services Go-To-Market (GTM) Leader

Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned business and growth leader to develop and execute industry go‑to‑market strategies for the financial services sector—primarily capital markets and banking (retail, commercial, credit unions and diversified institutions). This leader will partner with Product, Marketing, Field Sales, Architecture, Partners and the broader Industry & Solutions team to drive pipeline generation and Net New ACV growth.
Responsibilities
Lead senior executive workshops with strategic customers and partner with verticalized sales leaders to analyze global industry trends and create action plans.
Coach and develop the GTM team; build breakthrough partnerships with SIs, MSPs and advisory firms.
Serve as the main point of contact for the Financial Services account teams focused on banking, aligning with sales, marketing, product, customer success and implementation partners.
Identify new buying centers and use cases within banking organizations (financial planning, loan origination, risk management, regulatory compliance, and branch operations) and partner with marketing to design solutions that deliver real value.
Analyze banking business trends, use data to inform customer efforts, influence behaviors and drive results across targeted accounts.
Present at banking industry and customer events as a subject‑matter expert and support account teams in short‑cycle sales activities.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on banking; proven strategy and operational leadership in retail or commercial banks, credit unions or diversified institutions.
5+ years in an IT or technology role within a banking organization.
5+ years at an enterprise software company focused on banking accounts or at a top‑tier consulting firm driving transformational change for banking clients.
Experience integrating AI into banking work processes, decision making or problem solving.
Exceptional executive presentation and communication skills (C‑level engagement).
Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships with customers and sales teams and influence senior leaders.
Proven revenue‑growth track record in partnership with direct account sales teams.
Strong organizational skills, self‑motivation and ability to thrive in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
Travel up to 50%.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, technology, engineering or related field.
Compensation Base Salary Range: $271,000 — $318,000 USD
