Katalyst Group is recruiting for a Tax Advisor on behalf of a privately held family office with headquarters in Chicago. The role focuses on providing in‑depth federal tax advisory and research for internal stakeholders, specifically identifying tax avenues to explore during M&A transactions. Responsibilities
Advising internal stakeholders on federal tax avenues relevant to M&A transactions. Conducting comprehensive tax research and analysis to support strategic decision making. Preparing and presenting tax impact reports to senior leadership. Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Minimum 6 years of tax advisory and research experience, preferably in a public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of federal tax regulations and M&A tax considerations. Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation: $120K – $140K per year, with pension and bonus potential. The range reflects total annual compensation and is based on skills and experience. Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on site two days a week at the Chicago office. Seniority Level
