Chief Financial Officer – Multifamily Construction GC – Milton, GA

$180,000.00



$220,000.00

per year. An established and growing multifamily builder and owner construction company is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations, strategy, and growth of the firm. This is a new position created as the company expands. Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies for the business, aligning with the company's overall objectives. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure. Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to Management and the Board of Directors. Prepare short- and long-term financial forecasts for internal and external stakeholders. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinating with outside audit firms and reviewing their performance. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide range of activities including financial accounting, reporting, and employee relations. Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC rules, Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, and other relevant legal requirements. Manage corporate and human resource activities such as employee benefits, retirement plans, and insurance. Motivate staff to produce quality work within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Solid experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Timberline, Viewpoint, WIP, T&M, lien waivers). Proven experience with year-end close processes, ledger operations, and invoice management. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and GAAP. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Strategic vision, technical proficiency, analytical ability, and operational focus. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects independently. Ability to balance project delivery against budget realities and derive meaningful insights from complex data. Benefits
