What You’ll Do
Collaborate with design, systems, and architecture teams to define and implement test strategies for engineering validation (EVT) and design validation (DVT) of advanced optical transceivers.
Design, build and maintain test solutions by integrating test equipment/components with thermal/mechanical requirements and calibration requirements.
Write and maintain Python-based scripts to automate complex testing workflows, improve scalability, and ensure robust, repeatable and accurate test coverage.
Take ownership of data analysis and interpretation, providing insights to cross-functional partners to foster design improvements and ensure compliance with standards.
Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to support component-level characterization and root‑cause analysis.
Stay at the forefront of industry standards (IEEE 802.3, MSA, CMIS) and ensure alignment in test execution.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s and 12+ years of relevant work experience or Master’s and 6+ years work experience.
Proficiency using optical and electrical lab equipment: OSA, BERT, DCA, oscilloscope, ONT, VNA, etc.
Experience in Python scripting (or equivalent) for test automation and data processing.
Working knowledge of optical transceiver fundamentals and relevant datacom standards.
Sharp problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Excellent data storytelling and communication skills to clearly share findings and influence design decisions.

Pay Range P60-USA-1 :$108,800.00 - $155,400.00
Disclaimer Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
