The Role
Conduct detailed analysis of hotel and brand‑level performance to identify patterns, variances, and root causes.
Develop models and frameworks to measure the impact of key initiatives on revenue, profit, and guest outcomes.
Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Finance, and Operations teams to integrate diverse datasets into unified performance views.
Translate analytical findings into concise visual stories and recommendations for regional and property leaders.
Support the creation and refinement of HPH product dashboards, KPI trackers, and performance alerting tools.
Maintain consistency and accuracy in KPI definitions, ensuring alignment with corporate reporting standards.
Perform “forensic” analyses on underperforming hotels or portfolios and prepare executive‑ready summaries.
Partner with the BI Analyst to automate recurring insights and improve data accessibility for business partners.
Contribute to the development of hypotheses and testing frameworks to evaluate operational interventions.
Participate in cross‑functional reviews to validate insights and ensure they inform decision‑making processes.
Qualifications Experience Required
4–6 years of experience in business analytics, revenue management, or performance analysis; hospitality experience preferred.
Proven ability to connect analytical output to business action and financial outcomes.
Experience working with large, complex datasets to generate practical, actionable insights.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field.
Strong proficiency in analytical and visualization tools (like Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx, SQL, Python/R preferred).
Experience Preferred
Familiarity with enterprise data systems, hospitality performance metrics, and Oracle EPM for performance modeling and reporting.
Advanced degree or specialized certification (e.g., data analytics, finance)
Analytical curiosity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Ability to convey complex findings clearly to non‑technical audiences.
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Salary range: $117,000 – $140,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
